Position Overview
AP Services is building a network of School Psychologists for hybrid placements with districts in Chicago's North Shore and North Suburban communities — on-site for testing and meetings, remote for documentation and follow-up.
- 1099 independent contractor — not a W-2 position
- Hybrid: on-site for testing and meetings, remote for reports
- K-12 assignments across North Shore and North Suburban districts
- School-year placements
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and standardized testing on-site at the assigned school
- Complete report writing and documentation remotely
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, in person or by video depending on the team's preference
- Consult with teachers and staff both on-site and remotely as needed
- Support MTSS/RTI processes
Qualifications
- State licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Comfortable splitting time between on-site assessment days and remote documentation work
- Prior school-based experience preferred
Contractor Notice: This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position. Assignments, start dates, hours, and final compensation are determined based on confirmed district needs and are not guaranteed until placement is finalized.
