Academic Professional Services (“AP Services,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through apservicesk12.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect information you provide directly through our forms:
- Job applications: name, email, phone, state, years of experience, credentials/certifications, preferred work arrangement and location, availability, and any additional information you include.
- Staffing requests (schools & districts): organization name, contact name and title, email, phone, and details about the staffing need.
- Professional network sign-ups: name, email, phone, profession, licensed states, credentials, experience, availability, and preferences.
- General contact form: name, organization (if applicable), email, phone, and your message.
- Free resource downloads: name, email, ZIP code, and profession (if provided), so we can send you the resource and, where relevant, information about nearby opportunities.
We do not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy to describe what’s collected and, where required, provide a way to opt out.
How We Use Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Evaluate candidates for open positions and match professionals with school and district needs
- Respond to staffing requests and general inquiries
- Maintain records of applications, requests, and communications
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to provide our services:
- With the school or district you’re being considered for, if you apply to or are matched with a position
- With service providers who help us operate the site and store data on our behalf — currently Netlify (hosting) and Neon (database) — who are only permitted to use it to provide those services to us
- If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of AP Services or others
Data Security
All data submitted through this site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to stored candidate and district information is limited to authorized AP Services staff.
Data Retention
We retain application and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to consider you for current and future opportunities, or as required by law. You can request that we delete your information at any time — see “Your Choices” below.
Your Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us through our Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children’s Privacy
This site is intended for school districts and working professionals. It is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
