Position Overview
AP Services is building a network of School Social Workers for on-site placements with districts and schools in and near Chicago.
- 1099 independent contractor — not a W-2 position
- On-site, school-year placements
- K-12 assignments across districts and schools in and near Chicago
- Direct, in-person support for students and families
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling on-site
- Connect students and families with community resources
- Participate in IEP and MTSS meetings
- Collaborate with school teams on student support plans
Qualifications
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Support Personnel (School Social Worker) endorsement
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Prior school-based experience preferred
Contractor Notice: This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position.
