Position Overview
AP Services is building a network of School Social Workers for hybrid placements with districts across the Chicago suburbs — on-site for direct student and family support, remote for documentation and case coordination.
- 1099 independent contractor — not a W-2 position
- Hybrid: on-site for direct support, remote for documentation
- K-12 assignments across the Chicago suburbs
- School-year placements
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling on-site
- Complete case notes, documentation, and resource coordination remotely
- Participate in IEP and MTSS meetings, in person or by video depending on the team's preference
- Collaborate with school teams both on-site and remotely as needed
Qualifications
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Support Personnel (School Social Worker) endorsement
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Comfortable splitting time between on-site support and remote documentation work
- Prior school-based experience preferred
