Position Overview
AP Services is building a network of Speech-Language Pathologists for on-site placements with districts and schools in and near Chicago.
- 1099 independent contractor — not a W-2 position
- On-site, school-year placements
- K-12 assignments across districts and schools in and near Chicago
- Direct, in-person therapy and evaluation
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations on-site
- Provide direct therapy services to students
- Participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers and families
Qualifications
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, and Illinois PEL with School Support Personnel (Speech-Language Pathologist, Nonteaching) endorsement
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Contractor Notice: This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a W-2 employee position. Assignments, start dates, hours, and final compensation are determined based on confirmed district needs and are not guaranteed until placement is finalized.
