Position Overview
AP Services is building a network of Speech-Language Pathologists for hybrid placements with districts across the Chicago suburbs — on-site for direct therapy, remote for documentation and planning.
- 1099 independent contractor — not a W-2 position
- Hybrid: on-site for direct therapy, remote for documentation
- K-12 assignments across the Chicago suburbs
- School-year placements
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide direct therapy on-site
- Complete treatment plans and progress documentation remotely
- Participate in IEP meetings, in person or by video depending on the team's preference
- Collaborate with teachers and families both on-site and remotely as needed
Qualifications
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, and Illinois PEL with School Support Personnel (Speech-Language Pathologist, Nonteaching) endorsement
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Comfortable splitting time between on-site therapy and remote documentation work

Assignments, start dates, hours, and final compensation are determined based on confirmed district needs and are not guaranteed until placement is finalized.
